Business Development Associate

As our Business Development Associate you will:

  • Support the sales team in executing the GreenBiz sales and outreach strategy
  • Maintain and manage Salesforce.com activities including updating contacts, accounts, opportunities, leads and developing reports
  • Respond to inbound inquiries, qualify and schedule calls with prospects
  • Conduct outbound outreach to target, qualify and schedule calls with prospects
  • Facilitate outbound outreach to schedule in-person meetings for sales and leadership teams
  • Develop sponsorship and advertising proposals in collaboration with sales team
  • Coordinate closely with marketing, customer success, content and other related teams
  • Leverage sales/marketing tools including Linkedin, Marketo and other solutions for prospecting
  • Attend industry events as needed

 

Additional Responsibilities include:

  • Manage sales inventory including writing product descriptions and proposal language
  • Create sales and marketing promotions and collateral in collaboration with marketing team
  • Ensure documents, communications and collateral are aligned with marketing objectives
  • Oversee Salesforce administration duties including management of product catalogue, create custom views, run reports
  • Create monthly forecasting, revenue recognition reports, monthly closed business and pipeline reports in collaboration with the CRO and finance manager
  • Track and analyze competitive market share and industry events
  • Additional operational tasks as required

 

Job Requirements

Our ideal candidate will be tech-savvy and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. You should be a resourceful, self-starter who is eager to prospect new sales opportunities, nurture leads and close business. You are creative, well organized, detail-oriented, able to multi-task and take direction from multiple people. You love working with current and prospective clients to understand their marketing goals and consistently meet or exceed them. Previous sales, operations or marketing experience and experience using Salesforce.com or similar CRM product is preferred but not required. BA or equivalent preferred.
